Ciara previews the new range of celebration cakes she's helped develop – in store from March.

We've got some exciting cakes launching soon. For us a "Wow" cake is something that is first to market, that delivers innovation or interaction or excites our customers.

Drip cakes are a massive trend that we've seen across social media on sites like Pinterest and Instagram. Our Chocolate drip cake is a chocolate sponge top-loaded with chocolate frosting and chocolate malt balls.

We also have a Pink drip cake which is a three-layer madeira sponge with a jam filling, with pink and off-white frosting, chocolate malt balls, chocolate curls and a pink glimmer.

A cake which did really well for us last year is the Smash cake which is one of our "interactive" cakes. It comes with a chocolate dome that you break to reveal sweets inside. Our next interactive cake is the Truth or Dare cake which is a game within a cake. There's a spin-around top and when you cut a slice it will reveal a truth or a dare on the board underneath. It's suitable for children and adults and puts a fun game element into something edible.

We know our customers love our giant gnomes so we're launching a Gnorman the gnome cake – he's the exact copy of the Gnorman the gnome you can buy from George Home. I think he will appeal to children and adults alike, especially those who collect gnomes!

We take a lot of our trends from homeware items which is why you will have seen the copper, bronze and gold colours on our Smash cakes at Christmas. This summer pineapples are really on trend across Homeware and fashion so we're adding a 3D Pineapple cake to our celebration range with fruity buttercream icing. Very tropical!

And finally Clyde the caterpillar is one of our old favourites – and this year he's getting a girlfriend! Look out for Bonnie the caterpillar launching in March.
