Thanks to the Asda Foundation I was able to help arrange a £1,000 grant for a local school to help the parents out during the cost of living crisis.
Here is what the group, @thepositivitree, had to say on their Facebook page: "Huge gratitude to the lovely Ian, Community Champion from Asda Woodchurch for supporting our application to Asda Foundation for a grant of £1000. We’ve used the grant to buy 20 families from the Woodchurch estate whose children attend Ganneys Meadow School & Family Centre air fryers and recipe books. Special thanks to our volunteer Clare who helped collect the air fryers and the team at Ganneys for distributing them. We also want to recognise Sarah Bell who helped us come up with the idea for this project 🤩"
