Stepping out for charity

Well done to the eight colleagues from our store who took art in a sponsored walk to help raise £1,374 for Boston Women's Aid.

They set off from our carpark and walked along Witham Bank East as far as Anton's Gowt Lock and back again - a distance of around 8.5km (approx 5.5 miles). Boston Women's Aid has been providing specialist domestic abuse services for over 34 years. It offers advice and support through encouragement and understanding with a non judgmental attitude. It also provides a confidential service through skilled workers who have a wide range of knowledge and skills. Tina, who organised the walk, said: "We're keen to support local charities at Asda and I'd like to thank all of the participants, their sponsors and match funding from the Asda Foundation for helping us to raise £1,374 for such a fantastic cause."
