Tickled Pink fundraising

We're delighted to announce that we have raised £2,685.11 for our Tickled Pink campaign thanks to our generous colleagues and customers.

This year’s fundraising will uniquely support the work of two charity partners, Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s powered by excellent breast cancer research and driven by life changing care such as its helpline which is there for anyone affected by breast cancer to cope with the emotional impact of the disease. The money will also support the educational and outreach work of CoppaFeel! which aims to empower 600,000 18-24 year olds to adopt a regular boob checking behaviour by 2024. The money was raised through a series of in-store activities for this year's campaign, including bucket collections, craft sales and a Tickled Pink day when colleagues dressed in pink. We also handed out a ‘Signs & Symptoms’ leaflet which had tips on how to check and what to look for, as well as signposting to further information. We wanted to remind customers that the important thing to remember is to check their breasts regularly, to know what is normal for them, and to understand the signs and symptoms.” Find out more about the charities, the partnership and their work at asda.com/tickledpink
