Supporting our runners

Community Champions from across the East Midlands came together to volunteer at one of the region's most popular charity road runs, the Asda Foundation City of Lincoln 10k - part of the hugely successful Asda Foundation 10k Series organised by Run For All, and thousands of runners crossed the finish line to mark this special occasion.

Runners could take part for fun or to raise funds for any charity of their choice and it's expected that the event will once again raise tens of thousands of pounds for some very worthwhile causes. As entrants crossed the finish line they were greeted by Asda Community Champions giving out water provided by the Asda Foundation. Each runner could then pick up their goody bag, finisher's medal and t-shirt, and proceed to the Event Village. We'd like to congratulate everyone who took part in the Asda Foundation Lincoln 10k - whatever your reason for running - and hope that everybody had a brilliant day. Once more the City of Lincoln 10k was a huge success - every single participant is to be congratulated on an amazing job. Well done everyone!"
