I met up with this group of young footballers from Burradon Girls under 12s who would like a bag pack to raise funds for new equipment and uniform.
So when I asked Heather if the girls would be training in the rain, she said, "Jackie it's grassroots football – yes, we will be here". So I donated some bottled water and bananas for snacks while they playing. It was absolutely pouring down, so their dedication shone through. Maybe a budding England player could be here.
