Helping hands from Asda

I was only too happy to help local charity Noah’s Ark Preschool who've moved premises – and whose new home needed a lot of work.

The garden area was completely overgrown with brambles and was not suitable for the children. Bridget from the charity reached out to see if we could help. Heidi from our Fareham store and Leigh from Asda Eastleigh, Malcolm from the Gosportarians and I formed a working party and were set the challenge of clearing one part of the garden area. Luckily for us the brambles had been cleared so we were set the task of cleaning the area and tidying.  We also built a water wall out of old guttering and pipes and a xylophone out of old spanners that had been donated. We spent a few hours in the garden working hard and hope the children enjoy our efforts.
