In my job I am lucky enough to be able to work with and support one of our local food banks, The Beacon in Havant.
Sadly demand has gone up and understandably donations are down – I have never seen their shelves so empty. If you can afford to get any extra products in your shopping for them please do. There is a donation point in Asda Havant among other places. They desperately need anything from bars of soap to tea bags, a pack of rice, a packet of biscuits to a box of cereal. Every donation really does help, so a big thank you to all our generous customers who support the food bank.
