Imran and Saqab came in to receive donations to support the food hub at C.A.T.C.H (Community Action To Create Hope) where volunteers make food parcels to deliver to vulnerable people.
This hub is part of the Covid-19 Emergency Volunteers Project which Leeds City Council have setup in each ward in Leeds. They receive a daily referral list from the local council of families in need as well as from their group of volunteers and then make food parcels for these vulnerable families to tide them over until a more permanent solution is sought. They are doing an excellent job. Keep it up! 🙂
