Our food bank collection trolleys fill up so quickly thanks to the generous donations of our customers and colleagues. John from the food bank comes every Tuesday and Friday to collect the overflowing collection point in our store.
I had some community budget left over this month so I also decided to make up a trolley of things they desperately needed. £125 later I had a second trolley for John to collect. Our local food banks need all the help they can get throughout this crisis and beyond, so it was great to be able to double the collection this time around.
