It was lovely to see Jenni from Martineau Gardens in store to collect a donation of beef and veggie burgers ready for a barbecue to thank their volunteers.
Martineau Gardens are a new charity to us to work with and they focus on combining education, well-being and the natural environment in the beautiful gardens and woodland where they are based. They provide therapeutic horticulture for people with mental health issues and learning difficulties, environmental education for school children and eco activities for families. I visited them for the first time last week and offered to help them with events coming up.
