I met the amazing Veronica from Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer.

I received a letter explaining what the charity do for ladies who've been diagnosed with breast cancer and was blown away. Their "hug in a bag" contains a puzzle book, pen, water bottle, hand sanitiser, lip balm, tissues, hand cream, mouth wash, mints, a small lap blanket and some other bits. These are handed to the ladies when they arrive for treatment. It's difficult to know what to expect at your first appointment and can be very overwhelming. This bag tells the lady someone understands what's needed to help you get though the day.

Our donation of 10 of each item from their list was accompanied by hand crochet lap blankets. The beautiful blankets were donated by The Book Borrowers knit and natter group over by Asda Queslett. A beautiful idea.
