Meghan Farren

Meg is responsible for Asda's marketing function and joined Asda in October 2021 as Chief Customer Officer.
She joined from KFC, where she held various marketing leadership roles, including innovation, insight and strategy, and marketing communications. Appointed as Chief Marketing Officer in 2016, Meg led a turnaround of the brand amidst unprecedented disruption to the category, transforming the total customer experience to make KFC more relevant, distinctive and easier to access.
Prior to her ten years at KFC, Meg began her career at JPMorgan, then five years in strategy consulting across various retail and FMCG sectors, followed by roles in sales, category management and brand marketing at luxury desserts brand Gu Puds.
Although Meg grew up in the US, she has lived in Australia, France and, for the past 15 years, London. She lives in London with her husband, their two daughters and a labradoodle puppy.
Outside of work, Meg loves to read, has a passion for cooking (and eating) and also loves sport of all kinds.
