Asda has today confirmed that Eilidh Macaskill, VP of Creative and Marketing, is leaving the business to spend time caring for family in Scotland, before taking on a new opportunity.

In a note issued to colleagues this morning, Hayley Tatum, Chief People Officer confirmed that – having taken some time out of the business over the summer, Eilidh had made the decision to leave Asda after five ‘happy and very successful years’

In her note Hayley commented; “Whilst I was sorry to hear this news, I do respect that this is the right time for Eilidh…. Eilidh has made a huge contribution to our Customer team with her creativity, energy and relentless focus on our customers. She has been behind our fantastic customer communication campaigns over recent years, not least the return of the Pocket Tap, of course, some of our wonderful Christmas campaigns”

Eilidh joined Asda in 2016 to lead Asda’s creative, design, media and marketing teams. Prior to joining Asda she was global marketing director of Monsoon Accessorize and Editor in Chief of InStyle magazine.
