Asda shoppers can’t get enough of these Plant Based cookies

Asda has continued to cement its reputation as Vegan Retailer of the Year, with the launch of its brand-new Plant Based Choc Chip and Double Choc chip cookies – and shoppers can’t get enough of them.

Since hitting the shelves, Asda’s Plant Based cookies have taken centre stage social media, with countless likes and comments and many users tagging their friends in excitement. Commenting on a picture of the cookies, one Instagram user said, “These are delicious! The texture is the same as normal cookies and the flavour is amazing”, whilst another said, “Literally just bought these! Can’t wait to have one with a cuppa”.

Available in stores and online now, the Plant Based cookies cost £1.50 for a pack of 4 and bear the by The Vegan Society trademark confirming they are free of animal ingredients and have not been tested on animals.

In November 2021, Asda was awarded Retailer of the Year and Vegan Retailer of the Year at the prestigious Quality Food Awards, in recognition of its superb range of quality vegan and free from alternatives for customers.

For those with more of a savoury tooth, Asda also recently unveiled several exciting new launches into its Plant Based range.

Perhaps one of the most exciting products launching to its growing plant based range is Asda’s Plant Based Meat-Free Beef Style Steak. Priced at just £3 for 226g, the “steaks” are made with seasoned soya, making them high in protein and absolutely perfect for sizzling along with all the trimmings.

For those fancying a Veganuary fakeaway, Asda’s Plant Based Meat-Free Chinese Style Duckless Pancakes have it covered. Strips of seasoned soya paired with a delectable sticky hoi sin sauce and Chinese style pancakes make for the perfect meat-free Chinese banquet. The duckless pancakes are available for £3 for a 260g pack.
