It was lovely to meet Ann and Sue from Love2sign who bring people of all abilities, disabilities and ages together through signing to music. To keep them all refreshed we donated some tea time goodies.
The local Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre were in store on rowing machine raising money to help with Combat Stress for former military personnel with mental health issues. The team led by Sgt Rib Wilkins rowed continuously for 48 hours – a new world record. What an amazing achievement.
We invited Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters Club in to have our first can collection in two years. They're a great group and work hard to get better access to East End Park so everyone has the chance to attend the stadium.
We were once again delighted to help our local nonprofit community group Hearts & Hands with a donation of essentials to complete their hampers for families needing a little help over the Easter break.
