These amazing colleagues were recommended by Asda's CEO Roger Burnley to receive the British Citizens Award for their contribution to society and for being an inspiration to other citizens during these unprecedented times. Well done!
It was great to finally meet Asda's CEO Roger Burnley and Darren Hunt, Vice President of Retail. It was motivating and encouraging to see them. They had a lovely walk round our newly refitted store and at the end wished our checkouts manager Jackie good luck in her retirement by presenting flower and a gift.
Colleagues Kelly Horn, Mandy Tivinan and myself were thrilled to receive British Citizen Awards for exceptional contributions to society and for being an inspiration to others in unprecedented times, recommended by Asda's CEO Roger Burnley, from nominations sent online or by our store.
I was totally surprised to be told that I had received British Citizen Award after being nominated by Roger Burnley our CEO. The award is for special recognition for an exceptional contribution to society and for being an inspiration to other British citizens during these unprecedented times. I was delighted to be able to share this with five other colleagues from our store. Well done Bridget, Sabina, Aaron, Clare, and Philip – I hope you are all as proud as I am to receive the award. I really do feel that our colleagues are amazing and I'm proud to be part of such a fantastic team!
A huge thank you to Roger Burnley for the recommendation to receive The British Citizen Award Special Recognition Certificate. We all are honoured, from myself, June Thurston, Admin manager Levi Best, and Customer Service manager Darren William.
