Billie’s been working with the George team for the past few years on her successful children’s range designed for ages 0 to 5 years and her collection launching this month will be her fifth for George.
Her clothing for 0 to 5-year-olds is always really popular with both her fans and George customers and this time the collection includes footwear for the first time. It’s available now in selected Asda stores and online… and from May we’re delighted that Billie is launching her first ever nursery range exclusively online for George Home.
Billie really drives the inspiration behind all her ranges for clothing and home. It’s very much true to her style as she is involved right from the start and works with the George team on all elements of her collection.
We really enjoy working with Billie – she has lots of clear ideas which we work on closely together and she gets really excited about the product so our meetings are always fun and enjoyable. She uses her own experience as a mum to create a practical yet beautiful range. She is always thinking about the comfort of the children wearing or using her range.
We have regular meetings with Billie and we always trust her decisions as she knows her customer base so well. Billie has a strong attention to detail, which comes across in all the product. It’s her clear direction and unique styling which has really created and developed the collections into a true brand.
Some of Billie’s favourite pieces from her latest collection include a shirt and chino set, stripe woven and floral dresses and boys’ jogger set which her children Nellie and Arthur wore for the collection shoot earlier this month.
Blogger Rock n roll baby met Billie at our recent George Spring/Summer press event and was impressed by how much thought Billie had put into the collection so that it's both beautiful and practical.
She said: “Billie wants the clothes to be the French chic designs but have regular George prices so they are accessible to all - and she's done it!"
Billie’s upcoming nursery collection offers really premium quality at affordable prices so that it stands up well to top end brands. The team really pushed to get premium fabrics and finishes.
The beautiful nursery set features a mocha colour palette and adorable bunnies – made up of bedding, sleeping bag, bunting and a matching cushion it would make a cute and neutral addition to any new nursery. The bedding sets all reflect Billie’s style with beautiful colours and patterns that are classic in styling.
The large super-soft hooded towels are super cute and great everyday essentials but also make lovely giftable items. There are four gorgeous toddler bed sets to choose from and they each come in a re-usable fabric bag in the same beautiful design as the bedding.
