It's truly heart-warming for everyone at Asda to see all the positive messages our lovely customers have been sending to colleagues thanking them for everything they're doing to keep the nation fed.
Our colleagues up and down the country have been really touched by the fantastic cards, letters, messages and drawings delivered to our stores – like this lovely hand-made thank you letter from 10-year-old Alanna to everyone at Asda Dalgety Bay.
Our customer service colleague Margaret at Asda Donnington Wood was overwhelmed when a teacher brought in a big bundle of beautiful cards made by children at St George's Primary School. They really brighten up the customer service desk!
Colleagues at our Nuneaton store received some wonderful letters of appreciation from children at Chetwynd Junior School in Nuneaton. Adele, our community champion there, said: "It makes everything we are doing so worthwhile and has put a smile on everyone’s faces"
These lovely cards are from children at Bedford Primary School for our colleagues at Asda Bootle. Community champion Val said: "It brought a tear to our eyes! It makes you feel so proud to be keeping our community fed 😁"
Customers and colleagues at Asda Motherwell have been saying how much they love a colourful display of rainbow pictures drawn by children in the local community. Bernadette, the store's community champion, said: "They spread some joy in these unprecedented times."
Victor Szymanski drew this fantastic picture for his "hero" dad Tommo, who works at our Queensferry store and took it in to share with his colleagues.
Our colleagues also really appreciate it when people take the time to post shoutouts on social media thanking colleagues at their local Asda for everything they're doing. Here are just a few examples of the hundreds we're seeing:

Can I just give a massive shout out to @asda at Great Bridge. Extremely well managed social distancing in the queue. Limited number of shoppers in store and staff working like a well oiled machine to keep a flow of customers in and out. Well done 👍

Huge thanks to @asda delivery. Barely any substitutions, bang on time and the friendliest driver ever! Means even more in these trying times to see a friendly face and have a chat on the doorstep (from the hallway 😁). That's us and my mum fed for the week! Thanks again ❤️ #ASDA

Shoutout to the staff at @asda in Ardrossan. I hate going shopping in normal circumstances and get anxious at the best of times so today my anxiety was amplified. The staff were absolutely brilliant in keeping things running smoothly @AsdaServiceTeam
