Colleagues and customers are really getting into the spirit of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations ahead of the long bank holiday weekend.

At our Isle of Wight store, community champion Clare Jones, pictured above, joined Sight for Wight's jubilee party which was funded by a grant from the Asda Foundation.

Clare said: "Over 80 people attended – all dressed in red white and blue! The afternoon tea was marvellous and everyone had a fantastic time, not only eating delicious cakes and listening to great music but also, more importantly, all meeting up together as one big group."

Stephen Bromby, our Boston store's community champion, dressed up in red, white and blue to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with children and staff at St Nicholas Primary Academy.

And at our Altrincham store patriotic porter Kevin Taylor, pictured below, has been entertaining customers by dressing up as a member of the Queen's Guard! He said: "We all wish the Queen a very happy jubilee!"

Colleagues at our Thornaby store were having great fun at the Jubilee selfie station and enjoying afternoon tea, pictured below. Community champion Kayleigh Mitchell said: "Jubilee celebrations have been in full swing in our canteen."

Here's what some of our other stores up and down the country have been doing to celebrate the Queen's 70 years on the throne.

Colleagues at our Tilehurst store, pictured below, have already got into the party spirit. Community champion Jacqueline Fieldsend said: "We kicked off the week in style and will have activities and snacks for the colleagues all week."

Our Enniskillen store secured a grant for £965 from the Asda Foundation to help Carrowshee Park / Sylvan Hill Community Association celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

And at our Lowestoft store, we held a party for friends and family ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, pictured below. Community champion Vickie Cable said: "We had lots of things happening – a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, cookie decoration, pin the crown on the Queen, balloons being made into crowns, have a go on checkouts and so much more. It was lovely to see everyone."

Our Widnes store is looking all patriotic thanks to home shopping driver Stephen, pictured below, who has decorated the store in time for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations – he even made the mural himself!

Community champion Fay Edwards from our Gloucester store attended a fun Jubilee party at The Family Haven, pictured below! The charity, which helps vulnerable families in Gloucestershire, received a grant for £508 from the Asda Foundation. She said: "The children were all dressed up and making crowns. They enjoyed drinking from tea cups and saucers – and some even had their pinky fingers up! I was royally thrilled to be invited along."

And Amy Openshaw, community champion at our Clacton on Sea store, pictured below, had a lovely time supporting a Jubilee event at Dumont Lunch Club. She said: "It was a beautiful event with a singer, lots of food and dancing. For some of the members this is the only time they get out and socialise. A great time was had by all. Our store donated some refreshments for the event."

Wendy Border, community champion at our St Leonards on Sea store, pictured below, was only too happy to help Catherine from The Silverhill Playgroup who asked if the store could support their Jubilee party. Wendy said: " We were only too happy to help with a donation of cakes, biscuits and doughnuts. They were very excited."

And community champion Sam D'Souza from our Hayes store has been helping to arrange some fun Jubilee activities this week, pictured below.

There's lots of red, white and blue at our Eastlands store in Manchester, below.

And community champion Joanne Mitchell from our Bury Marketside store shared this post, below, of her attending a special Jubilee party at Castle Knights which was put on thanks to an Asda Foundation grant of £500.
