Would you say “I do” to one of our £1 Valentine’s engagement rings?
Our £1 Valentine’s Day engagement ring is getting people talking about whether you can put a price on love!
Hundreds of people have been commenting in response to social media posts, with some dropping hints to their other halves, while others warn: “Don’t even think about it!”
It’s a time-honoured tradition to propose with a Haribo ring, Hula Hoop or Onion ring, so a £1 ring from Asda is definitely a step up, with some saying it's a great way to save money.
Lots of people have been tagging friends and partners, joking they should buy one this Valentine's Day.
The ring is so convincing that one TikTok video warns, "Girls if you see this on Valentine's Day it's from Asda" – in case they think it's cost far more than £1.
They also come in a lovely red heart-shaped box that some people say they would be happy to receive – even without the ring!
Regardless of budget, lots of people say it's the thought that counts, not the cost of the ring.
This Valentine's at least one seven-year-old will be using the £1 Asda ring to propose, according to his aunt who bought it for him. She posted a video of the ring on this Facebook post from Glasgow Live. Awww! 🥰
Good luck to him – and anyone else proposing this Valentine's Day.
