He was at the lottery and customer service bit and honestly I went in the shop just busy and kinda stressing as always on a Sunday but I left smiling and a bit more upbeat.
"What an absolute legend he is – some energy and the happiest person a think I have ever met in my life ... guy is a total LEGEND."
His post attracted 600 comments from locals agreeing and sharing their own experience of Andrew and Asda:

More than a thousand comments from local Asda customers across two posts about Andrew
Asda posted about the reaction on their own Facebook page including a quote from Andrew saying "I'm over the moon by the piece and all the comments – even my mum's read them all. They were amazing, and I'm very grateful. I'm just me, it's just the way I am. I just try to make people a wee bit happier if I can; I like to try to make a difference."
It got even more fantastic comments from more than 700 local people with their own stories about him:

He is simply the best. Andrew just makes my day every time I speak to him. He is a ray of sunshine who cheers you up on your darkest days. Andrew deserves every acknowledgment he gets as he is the most caring, genuine soul I have ever met in my life."
