Check out this fantastic festive chocolate sculpture commissioned by our Didcot store to spread some festive cheer.
Store manager Michael Powell said the food art is inspired by the town's railway heritage.
"We wanted to create something truly magical this Christmas to celebrate the arrival of Asda in Didcot," he said. "As the store is in the heart of the local community, we wanted to create something that celebrates the history of Didcot, and means something to people in the town of all ages.
“The town is well known for its history with the Great Western Railway, and a model train track is a classic Christmas toy, meaning that a festive chocolate model railway was the perfect fit. It looks delicious!”
The mouth-watering steam engine and train station is complete with biscuit wheels, dolly mixture coals, a chocolate coin chimney, and chocolate finger piping. It's been created entirely out of chocolate and sweet treats. The masterpiece was created using waste sample products from our Christmas collection, the real versions of which are now available in store and online – including the chocolate Yule Log steam engine, penguin passengers, Father Christmas the engine driver, sweets and candy canes.
