Asda Foundation enables Citizens Advice Bracknell to improve its online help
Natalie Lambden from our Lower Earley store presented a cheque for £2,350 from the Asda Foundation to help Citizens Advice Bracknell improve its online support and outreach programme.
Citizens Advice is a charity that helps people resolve their legal, financial and other problems by providing free, independent advice which can influence policymakers. Since it began running in 1961, the charity has offered confidential and impartial services.
With the aim to ensure that everyone in the community has the same opportunity to receive help, the charity set up an outreach programme to visit those who are unable to get to the centre. Donations have been used to buy five laptops for their service.
Natalie, who's the community champion at our Lower Earley store, said: "Supporting local good causes like Citizens Advice Bracknell & District is really important to us – and we hope it will make a real difference within the local community in Reading."
