Asda Foundation grant buys new kits for young footballers

The young players from Ducklington Football Club's under-sixes team will be taking to the pitch in these smart new kits after receiving a cheque for £953.72 from the Asda Foundation.

Our Carterton store's manager Adam Wilson teamed up with Angie Young, the community champion at our nearby Wheatley store, to help the team apply for a grant from our charitable arm, the Asda Foundation.

Angie said: "It was such a pleasure to work with the team's manager Eddie with their application. They're such a lovely group who were so happy to have a kit of their own, as they had previously been playing in bibs.

"They eagerly changed into their new kit for the first time for our photo with Eddie and Adam, together with number 11 Oscar showing off his very own new kit."
