Here's the wonderful moment when our Halifax store's community champion Amanda Clegg surprised Calderdale Lighthouse with an Asda Foundation cheque for nearly £1,500.
The charity's volunteers say the donation will make a huge difference to their work in helping local families in need.
The group's name relates to them acting as a beacon for vulnerable and disadvantaged families who are in need of children's essentials including clothing, toys and baby equipment.
Amanda said: "This money will help them pack and send donations out to families faster, and will also be spent on storage boxes to keep the donations clean and tidy."
