This October, Asda Bangor Community Champion Victoria Gregg, has been encouraging colleagues and shoppers to support the Asda Tickled Pink campaign.
Recent fundraising activity in store included an Asda colleague ‘Pink Ribbon’ challenge – which saw in-store departments come together to produce the iconic symbol – as well as the Tickled Pink Memory Match game, Chopstick Challenge and tombola for local shoppers.
With the money raised going directly to Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now, customers and colleagues will be helping to improve care, support and information for anyone affected by breast cancer, as well as funding vital research to help stop women dying of the disease in the future.
Victoria said: “A big thank you to all the Asda Bangor shoppers and colleagues who supported our recent Tickled Pink fundraising activities. “I was ‘Proud to be Pink’ knowing the donations will help both charities to be there from day one for anyone facing a breast cancer diagnosis.”
