Cookstown colleague Janice hosts storytelling session for World Book Day

Our Cookstown community champion Janice Gibson recently visited Gort Kids afterschool club to host a special storytelling session for pupils ahead of World Book Day.

The reading, which included ‘The Midnight Gang’ by David Walliams, was made extra special by Janice’s fancy dress, and props for the children to represent their favourite literary heroes.

Janice said: "I was delighted to join the children at Gort Kids for this special reading session. World Book Day is a celebration of reading, and I was thrilled to be able to play a role in helping to bring the books to life for the pupils."
