Free Valentine's Day dates for singletons at Asda Trafford Park

Colleagues at our Trafford Park store have come up with a tongue-in-cheek idea to ensure no-one goes without a date on Valentine’s Day … by handing out free Medjoul dates.

They came up with the idea after a survey by eHarmony found that Manchester has the highest proportion of single people in the country.

Colleagues at the store will be handing out the dates from 11am-5.30pm on Valentine’s Day.

Dates are rich in amino acids, packed with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that replenish energy, and revitalise the body – making them ideal treat to get people in the mood for Valentine’s Day.
