Our brilliant colleague Ray Tobitt started working at Asda Waterlooville back in 1981 when he was just 18 – and 37 years later he still loves putting smiles on customers' faces at the store.
Ray, who's 54 and centre in the picture above, said: "Other than a period of work experience, this has been my only job. I joined when I was 18.
"I get on well with colleagues and I also like to catch up with regular customers when they come in. I'm hoping to be here for a good few years yet!"
The store's community champion Jacqui Benham said: "Ray's the longest serving colleague here, and we've also got a quite a few who have done more than 25 years, which I think says a lot about the store.
"It's like a little family here and customers are treated as friends. Regular customers seek out colleagues they know like Ray, and have a chat with them when they come in."
