A big well done to the children from Ruislip Stars Nursery who did a litter pick in the area – with a little help from the nursery team and colleagues from our South Ruislip store.

Store manager Lee Randall and community champion Laura Skov joined the group as they shrugged off the rain to clean up streets close to the store.

Lee said: "We were armed with black bin bags and a litter picker stick. We collected two full bags in just over an hour. We talked lots and laughed, with my biggest memory being hearing all the kids saying ‘Leeeeeeeeee'!

"Obviously, there were lots of messages about litter and the environment on the day. For me, doing our bit really made me think about our big role in the local community. Thanks to Laura for organising."
