Pop in and see some of the great changes we've made at Asda Runcorn

We've made some great changes to your Runcorn store – including hot takeaway pizzas available from our Asda Kitchen, more food to go and a bigger-than-ever range at George!

Madame Mayoress, Margaret Horabin, cut the ribbon alongside our longest-serving colleague Cath Sutton who has been with Asda for 44 years.

Our store celebrates its 30th anniversary later this year and Cath has been with us from the start, having previously worked at our Wigan store.

We were also delighted to welcome into store some of the many local groups our Community Champion Dee works with, like P.U.G Palacefields Ukulele group – who come into to store to fundraise for good causes.

Local schoolchildren from Hallwood Park Primary School also joined us on the day, as well as representatives from Runcorn Foodbank and members from the local children’s centre, plus councillor Alan Low and Shelagh Kearney from Four Estates.

Community champion Dee said: "It was a fantastic day! The store was buzzing. People love the hot pizza – it's busy all the time."

Be sure to pop in and see how your local store has changed. We hope to see you soon!
