Community champions from our Warrington, Birchwood and Westbrook stores teamed up to host a fun Pudsey's Teddy Bears Picnic at a local primary school.

Our colleagues have been hosting the parties as part of our support for BBC Children in Need's charity campaign – and Liz Cotterill, Beky Wakefield and Cathy Robinson held theirs at Penketh Primary School.

The youngsters loved the packed lunches, cakes and even got to meet Pudsey himself.

The youngsters also set up a fundraising stall for BBC Children in Need on the day.

Liz said: "We had three sittings totalling 250 people which included pupils, teaching staff and canteen staff too.

"Everyone enjoyed the Pudsey packed lunches, with a free fairy cake and a piece of fruit provided for each child.

"We were lucky to enjoy a visit from Pudsey too - just a fab day, thank you to everyone who came and to everyone who helped organise it!"
