We're proud of the long-serving colleagues at our Colindale store – like Rasika Patel and Bina Dusara, who've been friendly faces working at the store for 35 years.
Rasika (on the left) is pictured above with store manager Diggi Saxena, Bina and the store's community champion Vanitha Kumar.
Rasika said: "We have a great team. Colleagues help me greatly, and it's been a fantastic 35 years here.
"I love talking to customers – we have a lot of regular customers who you get to know well. They always come back to us because we offer great service.
"I've got no plans to retire – I plan to keep on working until I drop!"
The store's people trading manager Graham Williamson says the great example set by long-serving colleagues like Rasika and Bina ensures there's always a warm welcome for everyone when they shop at the store.
He said: "We're quite blessed to have so many long-serving colleagues in our store. They all enjoy working here and it helps create a great customer experience.
"They're very passionate and customers really appreciate this. Our colleagues know many of the regulars by name which creates a great culture around the store."
