We've put the finishing touches to some exciting changes at Asda Patchway
There's a warm welcome waiting for everyone from store manager Matt Dodd and the team at our Patchway store in Bristol, where we've put the finishing touches to some exciting changes.
Thanks to everyone who joined our relaunch celebrations, including the Patchway Blood Bikers, the Matthew Tree Project and the Patchway Minibus – the store’s latest green token scheme winners – who were on hand to launch the store’s new ranges.
New services at the store include our new Sushi Daily bar, with daily freshly-made fish, chicken and veggie sushi ready to enjoy. Try the Teriyaki Chicken Classic Roll for just £2, or the Tokyo Menu – which includes a variety of cooked and raw fish sushi – for £5.90. The range also includes the 20-piece Hachi Menu with four types of sushi for £10.90 – it's perfect for sharing. You can also order sharing platters with all of your sushi favourites to be created in store while you shop.
Store Manager Matt Dodd said: “We’re proud to be the first Asda store in the country to have the introduction of a sushi counter, it’s one of the many brand new and exciting features available in store after our major refresh and is already proving popular with customers.”
Our new Green St Café with a new premium menu is now open.
Pick up delicious meals throughout the day – including full English breakfasts from £4.45 each and smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs for £3.95, served until 11:30am.
We've also got a great range of drinks and cakes to choose from, including smoothies, milkshakes, tea, coffee and hot chocolate with all the toppings. Pick up a slice of cake and a medium hot drink for £3.50 for a special afternoon treat.
You can now also pick up freshly-made Krispy Kreme doughnuts in store, and order a delicious hot takeaway pizza from our in-store Create Your Own pizza counter.
We've also added a new Timpson's kiosk, Max Speilman Photo and a Barber Shop.
As well as our new additions to the store, we've also improved some of our popular existing ranges. Pop in to our George clothing section and try out our new digital screens, which show live footage of our clothing being modelled to help you find the perfect way to style your look.
We've also improved our in-store Pharmacy, Optical and Bakery departments and installed a Click and Collect Cleveron Tower. The Cleveron tower, which acts as a giant parcel vending machine, is located inside the store and customers can pick up their online order in less than 60 seconds or returns items. As well as orders from George.com, the service is also available for selected third party partners including ASOS, Missguided and Decathlon.
Matt said: “It’s great to finally see the completion of the stores major refurbishment programme and having members of the local community join us to celebrate.
“There’s been a lot of hard work behind the scenes to get everything ready and I’d like to thank everybody for their contribution, it was brilliant to see such a buzz around the store’s completion.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming customers old and new to see the new-look Asda Patchway."
Thanks to all of our customers for being patient with us while we've been adding these exciting new additions.
