Community champions from the Wythenshawe, Hyde and Eastlands stores joined me, plus 50 volunteers, to take part in the Ashtac 50 Canal clean up.
This event commemorated the canal cleanup from 1972 which emptied the canal at Ashton and made it fit again for canal boat use, completing the Cheshire ring. It was fantastic to see so many people working together to enhance the Community. Thank you to everyone who took part.
