The pupils, teachers and staff at Lampard special school in Barnstaple have really missed seeing our over community champion Walter over the last few months – so when it was his 74th birthday they made him a special card to say they were all thinking of him!
The hand-drawn card even had a special pin badge saying “Walter you’re a star!” Walter said: “It was such a fantastic surprise. I was truly touched by the effort, it was such an honour to be given such warm birthday wishes and all individually handwritten.” Happy birthday Walter, hope you have a fantastic day.
