Outdoor learning benefits from store donation.
As we slowly travel the road map out of lockdown, the pupils of St. Pius X Catholic Primary School are looking forward to planting raised tubs in the outdoor education area. Due to restrictions, Liz Casey volunteer gardner, thought that as all the children can't actually see how big the school is pupil wise as they have to stay in year bubbles, that it would be a good idea to begin by planting sunflower seeds, one for every child attending the school. This will be the first activity that the whole school can take part in, what a great sight all the sunflowers will be!
