Furness Creatives were pleased to receive a £1,227 grant from the Asda Foundation.
The art and craft therapy workshop will use the money to buy a special machine to recycle grocery and household plastics. The group will be able to make new items and sell them, which will not only help with green issues, but enable the group to be more sustainable.
