Congratulations to our fabulous colleague and all-round busy bee Margaret who has been rewarded for her tireless work in the community.
Margaret, who works at our Blantyre store, received one of the Lord Provost of Glasgow's awards for "outstanding work in the community" and also a bench from Keep Scotland Beautiful. The store's community champion Mary said: "Margaret often dresses up as "Grumble Bee" and "Crabbit Rabbit" and organises local litter picks, sunflower-growing competitions, Easter Egg hunts and so much more as part of Bonnie Blantyre, Blantyre Community Council and Friends of the Calder. Her passion for our wee community is infectious and she deserves all the recognition for her work. Her daughter Susan helps out too and together they are a dynamic duo! We are so proud of our wee bee! We're all delighted for her."
