The NHS Health and Wellness manager Ian Chapman contacted myself and Lorraine, the community champion at Asda Burnden Park, to ask if we could make a special donation to 40 of their NHS staff who had been staying in a hotel to isolate from their families whilst providing care for the Covid-19 patients at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Myself and Lorraine got together and donated some chocolates to be sent to each of the 40 NHS colleagues as a big thank you for the huge sacrifice that they're making during these difficult times.
