The Johnson F'oldies, an elderly group of over 50's situated on the Johnson Fold estate in Bolton, were happy to receive a donation of creative packs from myself and the Asda Burden Park and Asda Farnworth community champions Lorraine and Carolina.
The packs consisted of playing cards, a best-selling novel, chocolates, a baking magazine, colouring pencils, an art doodle book, and a word search book. The donation also included bedding sets which will be used to make masks for the residents of the estate. The group will be holding a book review and keeping a record of the recipes they have tried during the lockdown and also hope to resume their usual meetings once the lockdown has been lifted.
