The Asda Bolton, Burnden Park and Farnworth stores have donated cellular blankets and hair brushes to the Baby Basics Bolton & Bury charity who provide every baby with the best start and every mum the opportunity to succeed by providing essential baby items to those in need.
Baby Basics' service service began in 2016 and has volunteers who help mums, babies and families surviving domestic abuse, trafficking, deprivation and bereavement. They do this by providing a safe place for their babies to sleep, baby clothes, toiletries, a labour bag, and memory blankets for babies who've died or been placed into care.
