I was delighted to donate a hamper of chocolates to the Southlands Residential Home along with beautifully designed and created Christmas cards from the Year 4 pupils at Sharples Primary School. Southlands received a hygiene grant for the nursing home from the Asda Foundation for £500.
The picture shows the two Janes – Jane Deborah Smith, our Asda Colleague whose mum Vera is currently staying at the nursing home, handing cards to Deborah Jane Stott, the nursing home manager. The residents of the nursing home are so excited to receive their greetings cards and chocolates.
