I was joined by three volunteers from the Crescent Foodbank to carry out a 'Big Shop' with a Supporting Communities grant from the Asda Foundation.
The newly-formed foodbank received a donation of £450 to buy food and hygiene products. Fuzeil Patel, one of their volunteers, said: "thank you so much Christine and Asda for your generous and continuous contribution to the vulnerable within our society, without a doubt this will make a huge difference".
