We have been continuing to help local groups to apply for the help they need from the 'Supporting Communities' scheme from the Asda Foundation.
St Thomas' Primary Academy, situated on Wyberton Low Road, had their application for £318.01 approved. The academy educates local children aged 4 to 11 and requested craft resources to improve the wellbeing of some of their children. The school believes that doing something creative would allow for self-expression which would let the children express and cope with their feelings. Additionally, it would foster mental growth in their pupils by providing opportunities for trying new ideas, new ways of thinking and problem solving, which they claim is critical during the current time.
