Through the fantastic relationship we've built with St Nicholas Primary Academy, I'm often invited into school to support cooking on the primary curriculum, encourage parents to cook at home with their children and to promote healthy living.
We planned to visit Apostles Class to make mini pizza but because of the high number of Covid cases being reported across the UK, our outreach activities were temporary on hold. However, that didn't deter us from donating all of the ingredients and equipment for the cookery session so that teachers at the school could run the activity themselves. Our activities have now all resumed and I'm looking forward to getting back out and supporting the community around our store.
