We're supporting the UNICEF emergency appeal for Ukraine by encouraging customers to donate at the collection bucket on our customer service desk to support children and their families during the escalating conflict.
Customers will also be able to make UNICEF donations through our self-checkout tills from Tuesday 5th April to Monday 2nd May. Online Grocery checkout donations will be live from the end of this month. The Asda Foundation knows how important fundraising is for colleagues and we're proud to show our support for colleagues' efforts by providing Match Funding for UK-based charities. This includes those affected by the Ukraine crisis providing they are a UK-registered charity. Colleagues may also choose to donate direct from their pay through payroll giving. This is on top of our previously announced £1m package to support displaced Ukrainian families in Europe and the UK which included following measures.
