Pupils from Mendell Primary School were so pleased to receive the new Dell laptops and tech bundles we donated as part of our initiative to provide over 7,000 laptops to schools across the UK to help tackle digital exclusion.
Although children have now returned to the classrooms there is still a need for technology to support education activities inside the classroom, homework tasks, learning during the school holidays and to help schools future proof their home learning capabilities. We formed a partnership with technology provider Dell at the start of the year to invest over £2 million so that every Asda store in the UK could donate at least 10 laptops to a local school. Mendell Primary School head teacher Catherine said: "We can’t thank Asda, Dell and Vodafone enough for choosing our school to receive these laptops. They will go a long way in helping to break down digital barriers and help with any education remotely now and in the future."
