Sally is collecting a donation of food for a project helping families in our need an extra helping hand during these difficult times.
Sally said: "We are a group of eight people from Burwell Baptist Church who are reaching out to families in need in Burwell who have been impacted by Covid, job loss and financial hardship. We have been running the project since last year. We give the families the recipe and ingredients for a healthy meal each month and the children are encouraged to measure ingredients and read the recipe, helping their parents to cook." We also give the families each a bag of extra food. with this donation it will help them to help more families.
